Exe Estuary Management Partnership




In 2006 work has been carried out through the Cycleau Project to review the 1998 Exe Estuary Management Plan which needed updating to reflect the pressures and opportunities which have changed since then. The ‘Exepress Yourself’ survey in 2005 gave the public the chance to express their views on the Exe Estuary and its management. Since then the Partnership has worked to respond to the concerns raised and incorporate them into the reviewed Management Plan. In addition, all of the Partners have had the opportunity to influence the policies, issues and objectives which will be adopted by the Partnership for the next five years. The new Management Plan has been through a period of public consultation and is soon to be formally adopted. If you would like to submit your views about the management plan on the following issues: Do you think that we have identified all of the issues? Is there anything you would like to add? What is the most important aspect of the Exe Estuary to you?
