
We’re excited to share that the Exe Estuary will feature on BBC1’s Countryfile on Sunday 18th January at 6pm.
The episode will include a special spotlight on the Exe Estuary, highlighting the incredible wildlife that calls this area home, as well as the vital work of our partner South East Devon Wildlife. Their efforts around engagement and education at the seasonal wildlife refuge in Exmouth will be showcased , helping viewers understand how this important habitat is protected and enjoyed responsibly.
The Exe Estuary is a nationally and internationally significant site, supporting saltmarsh, mudflats, and sand dune habitats, and is home to a range of migratory and resident bird species. The episode promises to bring the beauty and importance of this site to a wide audience, showing the value of conservation work and community engagement.
