The Exe Estuary Officer has met with a variety of users during consultation meetings. This input will all be taken on board during the consultation process.

Below are amended maps that represent a good majority of feedback received so far, however, they are not intended to represent all users of the estuary. Please note that these are not the final proposals, as the consultation is still ongoing. Please refer to the original proposals when offering your feedback.

Dawlish Warren Voluntary Exclusion Zone

Feedback that has been offered on the proposed Dawlish Warren VEZ to date has indicated that users would like the boundary to be amended. Below is an indication on how users have suggested they would like the amended boundary to look (please note that this is a user suggested boundary, which has not yet been agreed by the SEDHRP, and is subject to change). The exising byelaw which bans dogs from part of the National Nature Reserve has been highlighted on this map for clarity:

Exmouth Voluntary Exclusion Zone

Feedback that has been offered on the proposed Exmouth VEZ to date is complex, and has indicated that users would like the boundary to be amended slightly. Feedback has varied between different user groups, so a compromise on the boundary still needs to be explored. Below is an indication on how a number of users have suggested they would like the amended boundary to look, to follow the buoys that mark the existing Kitesurfing Exclusion Zone (please note that this is a user suggested boundary, which has not yet been agreed by the SEDHRP, and is subject to change):
