Join Us for our Autumn Exe Estuary Forum!
The Exe Estuary Management Partnership invites you to participate in our upcoming Forum on 29th of September at Ocean, Exmouth. This Forum is an excellent opportunity for local stakeholders, community members, businesses and environmental enthusiasts to come together to discuss their views and hear about management on the Exe Estuary.
This year’s forum will feature two interactive workshops:
🔹 Local Nature Recovery Strategies (LNRS) – LNRS are a new, statutory tool introduced under the Environment Act 2021. They aim to map out local priorities for nature recovery and identify the best places to take action, such as restoring habitats, creating wildlife corridors, or improving land management. We would really value your input as we explore how these strategies can shape estuarine and coastal priorities in our region.
🔹 Codes of Conduct – A chance to reflect on all existing codes and how they are working in practice. This is especially timely as we are currently developing a new code in partnership with South East Devon Wildlife, focused on personal aircraft use on the Exe Estuary.
Full details and agenda can be found on the booking page.
