Do you love nature and wildlife? Do you want to get healthy and feel part of your community?
The salmon run highlights the challenges our river systems face through the story of one of their most extraordinary and iconic keystone species: the Atlantic Salmon. In this day-long event, you will follow the migratory route from sea to moor (50 miles) combining nature, community, arts and well being.
You can run or walk 5k, take on an Ultra or varied sections of approximately 10 miles in the relay over 50 miles from the sea up river to the shady wooded spawning grounds on the moor.

Tidelines are working with Westcountry Rivers Trust and Friends of the River Exe to highlight citizen science projects and the practical restoration work happening on the Exe, as well as what you can do to help.
“If the salmon are good and healthy, the whole catchment is good and healthy, including all the other wildlife and the population that live in the catchment. The salmon is a proxy for everything” Edwin Third, Dee River.
